About Me
Hi, I'm Emily
My husband and I have watched our family grow under the shade of Texas live oak trees for the past 22 years. Austin is home, and we love it here. We have celebrated many milestones, most recently our 26th wedding anniversary. We met in a small town in East Texas during high school. I grew up in the country, the oldest of eight children, and he grew up in town. While our childhoods were different, our beliefs and values aligned, and I said, “yes” when he popped the question on April Fools' Day. (I hope he was serious!) Neighborhood Halloween parties, camping trips, birthdays, weddings, and banquets are the highlights of my year. Give me a spreadsheet to fill out, a timeline to create, an invitation list, and I'll hand you back a night you get to actually enjoy (instead of run).

Who are "The Jennys"?
In the farming community, a female donkey is fondly known as a jenny. Renowned for their strength and steady nature, donkeys have long been trusted to carry travelers and goods safely through long journeys. Please consider us your wedding day 'Jennys'. We are here to carry every logistical load, leaving you free to celebrate the beautiful journey ahead.
What exactly does a day-of coordinator do?
A day-of coordinator manages the logistics of your rehearsal and wedding day so that you and your family can be fully present at your own celebration, not managers of it. We handle vendor communication, timeline execution, setup coordination, and any issues that arise throughout the day.
When does a day- of coordinator get involved?
While our main role is to focus on the wedding day itself, we begin working with you several weeks in advance to review your timeline, connect with your vendors, and make sure details are clearly communicated to relevant parties.
Do I need a coordinator if my venue has one?
A venue coordinator's job is to oversee the venue itself. Our focus is you, your wedding party and your guests.
